The chime Shiva-Shakti is a bestseller! Sun & Moon as embodiement of the male & female principle become tangible by this round, warm sound. The wind chime has two fundamental tones spaced in thirds, the sun tone and the moon tone, and the associated fifth and octave tones.

All wooden parts are carefully oiled and waxed and processed mainly from alder. The natural drop shape of the pendulum contributes to the harmonious design. In the small and medium version, the surface is anodized, the large version receives a complex processing by polishing on ground structure (microlization).

Background:

For over 20 years, the percussionist and "Sound specialist" Alex Resch is concerned with scales, harmonies, nature and planetary sounds. His knowledge that harmony and sound have a balancing effect and enrich our lives, he translates into the construction of chimes, objects for sound experience and other "exotic" instruments.

Every chime that leaves his hand is tuned to be purely intervallic. High-precision measuring devices enable the lowest tolerances to be maintained. Sophisticated harmonies intensify very strongly the effectiveness of the sounds and stimulate the brain in a special way.

He sets high standards for the chimes he makes, which must be well crafted. The appearance must be right, but sound and tuning have top priority. That is why he uses aluminum alloy bars, which he has specially manufactured. The wooden parts are made without exception from local wood and treated only with biological oils and waxes.
