The sweet, woody scent of the holy tree (Palo Santo)
Palo Santo aromatic wood is obtained from the Bursera Simaruba tree. It grows in South America, mainly on the Pacific coast. The aroma is sweet and intense with notes of lemon. Native Americans still use it during religious rituals, as they believe that its fragrant white smoke chases away evil spirits and protects the village. It is highly valued for its mystical ability to bring positive energies, cleanse and perfume spaces, and facilitate deep spiritual connection.
How to use: Light a piece of wood with a flame (e.g. a match). Then, similar to conventional incense sticks, the tip of the incense is blown out after a few seconds. The smoke that now emerges from the glowing piece can be used for spiritual cleansing or to energize Rooms.
For safe Palo Santo smoking, we recommend a heat-resistant bowl and use in a well-ventilated room. Do not inhale the smoke directly and ventilate the room after use. Do not blow directly on burning bundles; burning leaves can easily be blown away.
