The Palo Santo aromatic wood is obtained from the Bursera Simaruba tree. It grows in South America, mainly on the Pacific coast. Native Americans still use it during religious rituals because they believe that its fragrant white smoke chases away evil spirits and protects the village. It is highly valued for its mystical ability to bring positive energies, cleanse and perfume spaces, and facilitate deep spiritual connection.
