The sound samples only approximate the sound of the singing bowls, as the sound differs somewhat from bowl to bowl and depends on many factors such as metal composition, wall thickness, temperature etc. A deviation in the sound of the singing bowl sent from the sound samples audible here is therefore not a defect.

Traditional Manufacturing in India

Therapeutic singing bowls are traditionally handcrafted in Indian workshops. The meticulous craftsmanship and the high-quality bronze alloy give each bowl a richly overtone-filled and long-lasting sound.

Production process

• First, a metal disc is heated until red-hot and shaped with a hammer. This step is repeated until the desired bowl shape is achieved.

• The surface is then carefully smoothed and polished by hand.

• As each therapeutic singing bowl is handcrafted, there are slight variations in shape and surface texture. These variations, resulting from the craftsmanship involved, make each bowl a unique piece with its own individual Sound.
